4. Where is my data stored? Is it safe?
We take your privacy and data security seriously:
- All recordings and transcripts are stored locally on your device. We never store your audio or text
- Text is only sent to the cloud when you actively use AI generation, processed by world-class AI services
- For Pro members, we support iCloud sync across your Apple devices for seamless access
5. How do I enable or disable iCloud sync?
iCloud sync is exclusive to Pro members. Once subscribed, find the "iCloud Sync" toggle in Settings:
- Make sure you're signed in to iCloud
- Enable "iCloud Sync"
- Your creation tasks will sync automatically across devices
Note: Once enabled, data will be stored in iCloud. Think carefully before disabling sync.
6. How do I restore my Pro membership or cancel?
- Voticle takes privacy seriously—no account required. Everything stays local on your device
- If you switch devices or reinstall the app and don't see your membership, tap "Restore Purchase" in Settings. We'll check your Apple ID purchase history and restore your credits
- To modify or cancel your subscription, open the App Store, go to "Subscriptions," and make your changes there
7. What languages are supported?
Voticle supports multiple languages for both interface and speech recognition:
- Interface Languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese
- Speech Recognition: Chinese (Mandarin), English, Japanese, and many others
- You can switch interface language in Settings. Speech recognition adapts to your device language
8. How do I import audio files?
Voticle supports importing audio from other apps:
- Find the audio file in another app
- Tap the "Share" button
- Select "Voticle"
- The app will automatically transcribe and create a new task
Supported Formats: M4A, MP3, WAV, AAC, CAF, AIFF, MP4, etc.
Troubleshooting
Something's not working—what should I do?
- Try restarting the app
- Check your internet connection (AI generation requires network)
- Make sure you're running the latest version (update in App Store)
- Look for error messages in Settings
- Verify microphone and speech recognition permissions are granted

Recording won't start or no sound?
Solution:
- Check microphone permission: Go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone → Ensure Voticle is enabled

- Record in a quiet environment
